Jacques de Selliers is the Founder and Managing Director of the European Association for Battery Electric Vehicles and a Managing Director of Green Mobil. He graduated in electrical engineering at the Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (Switzerland) in 1979, and then worked in the private sector, four tears on oil rigs in Africa, 15 years as a R&D engineer in USA and Belgium, and then in technical management. In 1999, he developed the concept of the GreenFacts website and founded GreenFacts asbl in 2001 which he managed for over 6 years. In May 2008, Jacques founded the European Association for Battery Electric Vehicles aisbl, aiming of be the voice of all Battery Electric Vehicles stakeholders towards a proactive European legislative framework. In June 2008, he became a partner in Green Mobil sa, a start-up importing and distributing electric vehicles in Belgium. Jacques de Selliers is also the Founder, Curator and Managing Director of the Clockarium Museum in Brussels. |
