Prof Azad Bayramov

Dr. Azad A. Bayramov is leading researcher at the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Radiation Problems at the National Academy of Sciences in Baku, Azerbaijan. He has also been senior researcher at the International Center of Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, at the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Piza, Italy, and at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Bayramov’s current research activities include Nuclear Forensic Problems and Nuclear Threat Risk Assessment. He is participating in the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism. He specializes mainly in detectors as well as nuclear and radiation physics.

Bayramov received his Ph.Dr. from the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research in Dubna in 1983. He received his Sc.Dr. from Baku State University in Baku in 2000. This year he has gotten membership to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Nanotech Society of Russia.
