Comment:Visions explores the personal views of thinkers, innovators and scientists about possible solutions to global warming, overpopulation and dwindling resources. It is a unique partnership between the global TV channel, euronews and the Brussels-based newspaper, European Voice, in association with Shell.
Our charter is to encourage debate on how we approach the environmental and energy challenges that we face.
The website includes:
• Streaming of the Comment:Visions programme that airs on euronews in the first week of each month, and which interviews visionaries on different aspects of the energy and environmental debate
• Videos and transcripts from the Comment:Visions events, in Brussels
• An on-line forum where invited, informed guests can share their opinions and visions on each month’s topic
About euronews

euronews is the leading international news channel covering world news from a European perspective. Launched in 1993, euronews today is a multi-lingual (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish and Arabic), multi-platform news service. At euronews, we believe that a sensationalist approach to news coverage influences and distorts the viewers’ perception of the events. We believe that a news channel’s role is to supply each person with the relevant information, as quickly as possible, to allow the viewer to form his own opinion of the world.
About European Voice
European Voice is the Brussels based newspaper that brings you the most up-to-date information on policy-making, politics and business at the heart of Europe. Launched by The Economist Group in 1995, European Voice has established a reputation for providing authoritative, independent and balanced coverage of EU news and analysis. Every week European Voice provides readers with the latest developments within the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of Ministers and explains the European implications behind the world news. European Voice.com complements the newsprint by providing a daily online news service.
